Pedagogies Across Modes

Welcome! This is a space designed to capture moments, thoughts, and ideas related to multimodal pedagogies. It's a place to showcase multimodal pedagogies in action, mainly from classes that I teach. There will also be the occasional blog post with nascent thoughts around things that either I working on or developing with learners. Multimodality is a popular term in higher education, though the promise of multimodality and reaching that promise are different things. This digital space is designed to show some multimodal pedagogies in action. Effective multimodal pedagogies move beyond the novelty of a mode to account for how learners may build upon strengths and bring modes together for meaning making.
